i have a tv dilema when watcching tv the pictre shadows green as you would imagine it would if there was a fault with the tube however when i play dvd the picture is fine do i a look at replacing my tv or b consider having it repaired as it may be something silly wich may not cost that much to repair .it is aphilips 28pw6515 wide screen tv
Strange behaviour is very common problem in Philips sets equiped with chassis A10.You should change Painter IC (Philips name for micro controller IC) position 7064, SAA5667/5565 in Small Signal Board.This IC is SMD component with 100 pin.It no so easy. I suggest you to call in Philips service. If you want to invest about 80 pounds? Good Luck and let us know how you made out.
