I have Samsung SGH-D415 cell phone and it does ring and I can phone but my screan is blank. I can not type or read the messages, or see who is calling, or see my adress book. All I have is blank screan or horizonta lines.

It sounds as if the screen might have a broken edge connector or a driver is popped loose from the PC board. Not alot a consumer can do to fix this except to take the phone into the place of purchace or the service provider and see if theres an exchange or flat fee to repair or replace the phone. These days 90% of flip phones are throw away , mostly because of the cost to repair and the availability of parts. Like i said check with youe service provider. Good luck and please let us know what you did to correct your problem. Oh one more thing, Check and see if the phone is still in warranty. Some phones have a year and sometimes more for the warranty.
