I wonder if anyone could help me, my lcd tv just wont fire up the red power light is on but no picture when i press the remote, the power light flashes but it just wont come on. thanks phil
Some LCD sets won,t fire up if the main bulbs goes out. Check in your owners manual under troubleshooting to check that. If thats not the issue, theres a 3300MFD capacitor that goes bad in the main power supply. Also this set has alot of bad connections in the power supply . Last one I fixed, I had all sorts of intermittant problems, including not starting up most of the time. If your not a tech PLEASE do not experiment inside the set, as there are no user replaceable parts, and there is line voltage present inside, and you could make things worse then they are if you mess with the circuits.. Get back to us and let us know what you found or what it took to fix the set. Good Luck and thanks for vistiting http://www.techlore.com save for future use.
