I've just bought the sony rdr hx510 dvd recorder. It's great except I can't set the timer, or use video plus for any of my satellite channels. I've connected the sky box to line 3 as it says, but if I try and use the timer it only comes up with line 3 for the channel, so just records a load of nothing. Clearly I've set something up wrong. When I read the reviews it said you could do a synchro record and use the sky planner to record, but this doesn't work.. please note I paid a one off fee for the sky box, we use it to access freeview only, but we do seem to have all the sky features.
any help greatly appreciated.
