I have a Panasonic NV-GS11 DV camera. I have tried to playback footage of my holiday onto my TV. When the video does decide to play, black lines appear horizontally across the TV and camera. Also sometimes the video does not play and the video timer does not move. I have tried turning the camera off and on, and the video sometimes plays until i start to fast foward and it stops again. Please could anybody help ?
Here's a few thoughts. Since this is a PAL camcorder, you'll only be able to play video on a PAL compatible television.
Also, found this in th NV-GS11 manual:
"Depending on your TV, nothing may be shown even if you correctly connect the movie camerawith your TV. In this case, set [AV JACK] on the[INITIAL] Sub-Menu to [OUT]. "
