I've been looking at Pentax ones, mainly because I can recycle the lenses I already have. The Pentax ones are also in decent price range for me. I use a Nikon D100 on occasion for work, but that is way out of my price range.
Not only do I photograph "earthly" subjects, but I also take astronomical pictures. I certainly require a digital SLR that has a "bulb" setting.
I purchased the Pentax *ist DL from B&H Photo for $439. I'm currently using my old manual-focus lenses with it. I'm definitely happy with my purchase.
