I transfer using windows media player (version 10, i think.) would it be easier using iTunes. ?

I've even tried to transfered the songs by right clicking on the icon for the song after download and clicking on the send to item from the menu that appears.

If it's copy protected music,

If it's copy protected music, you'll need to transfer the music using Windows Media Player. However, you must have a WMA-DRM compatible MP3 player. Your Sanyo may not be able to play copy-protected music, regardless of the method of transfer.

What's the model number of your Sanyo player? I'll try to look up the spec.
