my Hdd mp3 player keeps showing an icon of the mp3 player with a huge exclamation mark through it, i read through the handbook and it says there is a disk error. it said to connect it to my PC and run the DMM software that came with it, when i tried to do so it the software said that my mp3 player wasn't plugged in even though the transferring files screen came up on my mp3 player. if you can help me wih this problem can you please contact me.

First I'd try removing the battery if possible, and reinserting it.
In the end, it's possible that the disk drive in the player has gone south. If so, you'll need to send it in to the manufacturer for repair.
