Cleaning camcorder heads

I have a Sony Hi8 camcorder Mod. CCD-TR81 that needs the heads cleaned. Because the manual warns against using wet(alcohol)cleaning tapes I used Sony's V8-25CDL cassette cleaner. It helped some but I still have the problem. What can I use to further clean the heads? .... Thanks...
