Hello All
For the love of all that is holy does anyone know how to change the input on this old rca colortrac f26060wn. My old vcr/tuner just died and I simply decided to replace it with a DVD player which I plugged into Input 1 on the back of the tv. For the life of me I can not change to that input and I lost the manual long ago. There is no input button on the remote and I seem to thing there was some trick with the buttons on the tv.
Any help would be great.
Thanks ... Webby

Old RCA - F26020WN - Can't Change Input
If the remote has a direct input button, it may be labeled something like TV/VIDEO, Input, or something similar. On some sets, there is no way to directly change the input, instead you have to use the channel changing buttons and channel below the lowest memorized channel, or above the highest memorized channel. On other TVs, it's required that you change inputs in the TVs on screen menu (less common, but not unheard of).
Give those ideas a shot and post back.
Thanks Matt I will give those ideas a try. I did think channel 91 was the back input but nothing.... then I thought
What if the new DVD player is defaulted to component out and not video out and is not even sending a signal to the TV?
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT PART I WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE ON A RCA F26020WN. MY PROBLEM IS THE POWER BUTTON NO LONGER WORKS WHEN YOU PRESS THE ON BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS NO NOISE NOTHING ITS JUST NOT GETTING POWER PLEASE HELP I CANT PART WITH THIS TV WAS MY MOMS WHO PASSED AWAY...THANKS
My RCA ColorTrac has lost the 1st 51 channels. I noticed that a few others have similier problems with the same model. Other than this, The tv performs beautifully with a wonderful picture. It would be ashamed to throw this away.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO. Will RCA pick up the tab for this?
Thanks. Suzyqq
