TV picture has way too much green when RCA DVD Recorder/vcr combo is turned on, WHY?

I recorded a movie from the tv on to a dvd. The next day when I turned on the RCA dvd reorder/vcr combo DRC8295N the tv picture had an over abundance of green,turned off the dvd recorded and picture back to normal. I tried recording another dvd, the green was back. Tried recorded dvd in son's player, picture was normal. Is there a way to adjust that?
