I recently purchased a Pioneer SX-315 Home theater system. I cannot get teh subwoofer and center speaker to work.
I tested teh speaker themselves on other ports and they work fine.
I made sure teh volume was turned up on all teh speakers.
I tried every setting on the reciever with no luck.
I tried going directly to the reciever from teh cable box, the dvd and teh vcr all with the same results.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a couple of quick suggestions:
-Make sure you've set the speaker size for all channels in the setup menu to small if you're using an external subwoofer. Make sure subwoofer is set to ON or YES.
-Make sure your center channel speaker is not conneted to the center rear if that port is available on your model.
-Make sure the receiver is not in stereo or direct mode. To get sound out of the center channel, you'll need to be on one of the surround options, like Dolby Pro Logic/Digital, DTS/Neo 6/EX, etc.
