Remote

The horizantal went out in our tv and we got it fixed, before we got the tv fixed our dish network remote would work with the tv, now the dish remote won't progam into the tv, and the remote that came with the tv won't work with the tv, the tv is an Emmerson TC2551RD we tried batteries and obvious stuff like that. Any suggestions? The channel set message just stays on the tv screen. It is annoying having "channel set" on the picture you are trying to look at.
