I have a digital cable box,vcr,and dvd player hooked up to my television my promblem is I would like to program my vcr to record on several stations. I can't do that because my vcr only recognizes channel 3 so how do I hook up my vcr to record other stations. I hope I explained it well.
Ok If you want to record any premium channels, then your gonna need another cable box, but if you want to record unscrambled channels then its easy as pie.. Take off the cable end that goes to the input of the cable box. Attach a two set splitter to the wire you took off the cable box. Attach one of the open ends of the splitter with another cable, to the place you took off the wire off the cable box , and the other open end of the splitter to the VCR antenna input. All extra two cables and the splitter should be available from any electronic store or parts house(yes even radio shack)..Good Luck
