I recently bought a new RCA RT2390 home theatre system at Wal-Mart. I set it up in my dorm room at college. when I plugged it in, the on/standby button on the reciever came on. When I push the button, it turns itself off. the display is completly black, but I can still here the fan in the back running. since I got it, I have not been able to turn it on. please help!
I'd say you got a bum unit out of the box. Pack it back up and exchange it at your local Wal-Mart. The next unit you get should not exhibit this problem.
