I BOUGHT AN RCA HTS6000 AT THE FLEA MARKET WHEN I GOT IT HOME AND TRIED TO PLAY A DVD IT SAID WRONG REGION BUT AT THE FLEA MARKET IT WAS PLAYING A MOVIE.
I'm assuming you live in the US. Look on the back of the DVD player. If it says anything other than region 1, then you have purchased a DVD player from a different country. The movie it was playing at the flea market was likely a disc from that country, or a disc coded region 0 (also known as region free).
Your only hope is to resell the DVD player somewhere that is accessible by others of that region, and purchase a DVD player coded for the DVDs sold in that region.
