I have a Hitachi DZ-MV550A DVD CAM. I tried to finalize a disk and received an error message that the disc was not completely finalized, and to finalize it again. I get the same message every time I try to re-finalize. I removed the disc and cleaned it with a soft cloth and tried again to no avail.
Is the disc toast? I'd really like to find a way to salvage the disc, it is a video of my Grandson's first Christmas.
