My dad has a Sony t.v. (Model # KV-27TS27) that is about 10 years old. When you turn the t.v. on chan. 2-50 are fuzzy, the rest of them work. After a while some of the others will work (2-5). Is there anyway to fix this problem on our own if so how? He doesn't necessarily want to buy a new t.v. if this problem can be fixed. Any suggestions?
yes it can be fixed, the older sets last longer then the new crop.
most likly there are bad solder connections in the prescaler or the tuner it self ( grounds )
on the case of the tuner and plugs of prescaler.
