How do I select "Recording Mode" on my brand spanking new SONY DVD92 HandyCam??

I've looked at the instruction manual, and I've tried to find the "Recording Mode" option on the touch screen menus, all to no avail.

Would appreciate ANY help anyone out there can give me. Thanks.
