My 19" LXI tv suddenly went blank (only the title "VIDEO" appears on TV screen). I'm thinking that this was the result of pushing the wrong key on the universal remote, however I can't get a picture back on the screen despite a whole lot of effort. CAn you help?
The term "VIDEO" likely means that the TV has been swithched from the internal cable/broadcast tuner to an external video input. Normally, this is fixed by "pushing the wrong key" again, but it may not be intuitive as to which key will cycle your TV's inputs if you are not using the original remote.
If, for some reason, you are unable to return the TV to the tuner using your universal remote, you can unplug the TV for about four hours. This should reset the TV, in which case the TV should default to the internal tuner.
