Vivitar Vivicam.10 will not turn on.

This camera is about 3 years old. It is seldom used. When I tried to use it the other day, I could not get it to power up. I tried several sets of new batteries, but all I get is a green light on the "macro" button. I'm trying to find the Vivitar company. Perhaps it is best to just throw this one away and purcchase another. If I cannot find any advice, then I probably will do that. Howver, I would like to find ourt if this is something fixable or not. I can only find my quickstart booklet which does not offer any troubleshooting.
