Only SAt 110 on one receiver and Sat 119 on other receiver

Hi, new here.

System Info: Dish Network (installed 1/2005) with 2 TV hook-ups, each TV has a receiver. Receive Sats 119 & 110

Just started having a problem after an intermitten power outage. Lights flickered a few times then power restored to normal.

Once I had TVs back on, the one in the living room was receiving a signal from only Sat 119 and the receiver in the bedroom received a signal from only Sat 110. Both had an error message refering to a multi switch error.

Called Dish Network and ran various diagnostics and resets, but still the problem persists. Dish Network rep on phone tells me the "multi switch" must have fried due to the power surges during the intermitten power outage.

Does this sound like the problem or could there be other reasons for the situation I have? Jsut trying to seek info before I plunk down cash on a new multi switch.

Please keep in mind that I am a "user" of Sat TV, not a techie. So I am stupid when it comes to how Sat TV systems work.
