Mp3 Player will drag and drop music but wont read them

My Megg 128 mp3 player has a easy to use drag and drop the music from the cd's to a drive that shows up defult as (E:)...

i drag and drop the music and when i go to use the player it reads no files...

im using windows xp so the manuel says i dont have to download any drivers.

Do i need to switch the format of the music and if so what program do i use?
