I have a 32 inch Sony Trintron TV 5 years old. It has sound, but no picture. When a picture does show it's for a couple of minutes then it appears to go backwards then disappear. Plus there's a red light it the front that flashes continually. Could anyone tell me what is going on with my TV?
I don't want to toss my TV just yet.

You don't have to toss your TV, but it is in need of service. You should contact your nearest Sony Authorized repair center for a quote. You can the base your decision on whether or not you want to have it fixed by that.
