My lovely 3-year-old put a DVD disc into the combo player and it has fallen behind the loader. Is there anyway I can retrieve this short of destroying the entire unit???
by the way, the player still works with another disc loade, but I really would like to retrieve the disc if possible??

If it's a combo, and you're somewhat handy, you should be able to open the TV case and retieve it. If you're afraid of voiding your warranty, or don't much like the idea of popping your TV apart, a service center can remove the disc for you. I wouldn't expect the labor cost to be rediculously high.
