DVD drawer won't open

Have a sony cd/dvd player - hardly been used and drawer won't open. i am sure there is nothing inside it. Any ideas? Says welcome .Thanks

It could be that the dealer lock feature has been turned on. Check your manual for such feature, and follow the steps to disable it.
