Having trouble running my digital camera program

I've bought a Philips keychain digital camera. went through all the steps for installing the software. Then I had to reboot my computer. Next the camera driver had to be installed, and rebooted the computer again. Now, I thought that I was ready to open the program. When I clicked on "MyCam CFI" instead of getting a dialogue box to load images, I got a box that said, "driver open fail". What does that mean or what did I do wrong? HELP!
