The Loader Wizard hangs when is "Connecting to the handheld(JVM)...

I finally found the Upgrade Software for the BalckBerry 7230 (it was ver hard), now after having downloaded it several times (same with the newer version of the Desktop Manager), when it is "Connecting to the handheld(JVM)..." IT HANGS forever!!!Because of it I cannot install the handset upgrade software, is it always going to be so hard? I'm about to give up...

If anyone has an advise, please help!!!
