I am new to the world of video games. Please help I was given an xbox. I went and bought a game and confirmed that the disc says "X-Box Live" on it. Why wont my x-box read the disc?
XBOX Live requires a broadband internet connection, the XBOX Live connection pack, and a monthly subscription. If you were given the XBOX, you need to make sure you have all the other pieces in order to play a game online.
Now that that's out of the way, you should still be able to play the game in single player mode, so the console should still read the game disc. Does your console read other games, or is this the only one you've tried?
