Sony dds-4 Tape Drive

Dear All,
I have a Sony DDS4, model: SDT11000, to repair ,the error shown by the sony tape utility is the "Error Code: 80h" which means the "control motor timeout in the user manual, but all the motors are running,Please guide me how to rectify the problem.
