My Sony 53" TV (#KP-53HS30) has a Flash Focus button on it to adjust the convergence. The button doesn't seem to work, as the three coloured crosses will not come completely together. I have looked in the manual and it does not give another way to adjust the convergence. Is there another way to focus my tv besides the Flash Focus..i.e. remote control??
As far as I'm aware, this model year TV did not have a manual override for convergence. All adjustments must be made using the Flash Focus system.
A technician can adjust the convergence manually in the TVs service menu if the problem persists.
Before you call a techincian, unplug the TV for about 40 minutes and plug back in. Then try the flash focus thing again. That may be all you need to do (worth a shot anyway). Post back with your results.
