I have 3 TV/VCR's with a video stuck in them. I figured out that it is stuck in the EJECT mode but I would like to find out if I can fix them myself or do they have to go into a repair shop which will probably cost more than I paid for the 2 small ones. The big Phillips is less than 3 yrs. old.
Combos are a severe pain in the rear when tapes get lodged in them. This is one of the reasons I never recommend combination units. If something simple like this happens, you have to take the whole thing in to get fixed.
I'm going to recommend a service center remove the jammed tapes. Otherwise, you're more likely to break something else while trying to get around all the TV components.
