i have the olympus c-7000 zoom digital camera. earlier today when i tried to transfer my pictures from the camera to the computer it would not work. (i use the memory card reader on the front of my computer tower) it kept telling me that the card was not formated, but to format the card it would have to delete all of pictures. i want to know if there is anything else i can do to fix this without losing my pictures?
Can you see the pictures on the card when it is in the camera? If so, try downloading them on another computer and see if you get the same error.
no, i cannot see the pictures on the camera. i was able to see the pictures on the camera earlier and then i tried putting the pictures on the computer and it did not work, so i tried to see if i could see the pictures on the camera and it just pops up that the memory card is not formated.
Sounds like your memory card is corrupt and you've probably lost your pictures. I personally don't know of a way to try and salvage data off of a corrupt card. I hope that they weren't irreplaceable.
