For some odd reason, Toshiba decided to include these instructions in the package with the replacement lamp... not in the instructions for the projector. I searched without success for a reference to this procedure on the web.
I'm willing to bet that Toshiba would be willing to provide these instructions to you over the phone. You can call their customer services group at 800-631-3811. They need to reference the instructions for replacement lamp model TLPL8, or the model of your projector.
