I have a Sony N707 Net MD player and I can never get it to check in/out files. What do I have to do to get it to work? When I try to check in/out a file I get an error message, "check in failed." This goes for checking in files from MD to comp or from Comp to MD.
Are you running the latest version of the Sony Connect software? Have you downloaded all of the applicable Windows Updates?
Ok I figured it out. I wanted to check in/ music from my computer or cd to my mini disk using the Jukebox 2.2 program. I found out it can't be directly done, music has to be imported to the playlist first, then can be checked in. To directly burn from cd to minidisk, MD burner which comes with the original sony software package is used. It lets you directly copy from Cd to MD without having to load to playlist.
I still dont know if it is possible to go from minidisk to computer. I tried once and it didnt work. Maybe it has to be saved to a playlist somehow then can be moved or copied to computer.
