I have an RCA television, Guide Plus, model #f25432, when I plug the tv in, there is a high pitched whining sound and it won't come on with the power button.
I have a RCA wide screen HD tv. A few months back a had a flood in my house, since then the tv hasn't been the same. Although it didn't get wet it periodically will have problems turning on. The problem fixed its self and there weren't any problems for weeks, however now it won't turn on again. Or it will turn on then turn right off (sometimes will repeat the pattern over again on its own). Has anyone experience this before? Once the tv is on it works fine.
My RCA tv keeps cycling through inputs and will not stop. (VGA, DVD, FRONT, etc. I have tried unplugging to reset, changed the batteries in my remotes, turning the DVD and VCR on and off, checking to be sure there are no "stuck" buttons on the remotes, removing the remotes to a different room. Anyone have an idea of what's wrong?
I have A RCA Model F36649 that will no longer power up. At first after being off it would take a few minutes to come on and a time are two after power up it would go back off for few sec/monutes and the come back on and work fine. now this month the power went off due to a storm and now the set will not come on at all.. I have called a service agent that tells me it is most likley the High Voltage transformer/ Fly Back and will be around $300 to repair,this sound steep to me considering I found the part online in a few different places priced from $18 to $45 and after reading your forum and am not only wondering if that price is high BUT if the TV is even worth repairing seems this model has boat loads of trouble..??
