My wife was given a Sony P31 for which I purchased a charger & batteries. However, when the power button is pushed the power light comes on for 1/2 second and goes out. It will do the same thing each time you open the battery compartment & close. Any suggestions? Maybe trash the camera where it probably should have gone in the 1st place.
I have a DSC-P31 and when i turn it on to take pictures it just turns off although i can preview my pictures and delete any pictures that i do not want. I can also down load my pictures to thew computor ok.What could be wrong

If it's not a battery problem, you probably need to get it serviced or buy a new one.
