I have located the manual for your television. Convergence systems like the one built into your set are not the most user friendly.
I'll give you a more digestable version of what the manual says. Remember, there are three colors in a CRT rear-pro: green, red, and blue. The green gun is stationary. You will only be adjusting the red and blue colors.
1. Enter the convergence adjustment screen. You'll see 9 crosses when you're in.
2. Each cross lines up with your remote's number pad. So if you want to adjust the middle cross, press the number 5 on your remote.
3. Once you select a position, the box will either be blue or red. Use the arrows to adjust whatever color the box is. When you're happy with the one color, switch to the other by pressing the SELECT button.
4. When you're finsihed adjusting the one spot, move to the next by pressing another number on your remote. Do not press the EXIT or ENTER keys.
5. When you have adjusted all spots, leave the convergence screen by pressing the ENTER button. If you press EXIT, all changes you made are lost. This is what gets a lot of folks with this type of system.
Give that a go, and post back with your results. Just make sure you press ENTER and not EXIT when you're finished with your adjustments.
THE TOP LEFT, MIDDLE, RIGHT AND THE BOTTOM LEFT AND RIGHT RED CROSSES WON'T LINE UP OVER THE GREEN AND BLUE ONES. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? CAN I DO IT THROUH THE BACK OF THE TV?
Probably not. Modern televisions adjust the convergence electronically, so there will be no manual adjustments inside the TV. More than likely, the convergence pack on the TV is faulty, which isn't a common, but not unusual, problem. You'll need to contact a JVC service center to have the television diagnosed and repaired.

I have the same issue with TV, my problem is I can't change from red to blue, my remote does not have a select botton, Im not sure if this is the original remote for this TV, the remote model number is RM-C1270G...any suggestions?
If your TV was operating relatively normally and colored outlines or a "3d Picture" is now obviously visible, the convergence circuit has failed. The letters in the Menu will be out of alignment.
The convergence adjust screen is used for minor adjustment caused by components drifting over time or from minor mis-alignment due to moving the unit. If convergence adjustments are not working as expected, convergence circuit has failed. The Convergence Gallery will confirm your fault.
Trying to adjust the convergence or continuously trying the auto-focus when the circuit is damaged will result in stored data being changed considerably. Excessive adjustment attempts will result in more extra time and labor than a Minor or Touch-Up alignment after the defective components are replaced.
The JVC convergence adjustments can only be done with the original remote control. Universal "Replacement" remotes are only useful for On-Off, Volume, Channel and maybe basic color, tint, bright, contrast adjustments.
2 STK ICs and maybe damaged resistors or open fuses have to be replaced.
I had to replace the convergence chips in my AV-48Wp30 a month or so ago. If you know how to solder you can do it - I don't, unfortunately, but a friend of mine was able to help me out with it. You can get a repair kit from anywhere, but I would recommend www.tvrepairkits.com (no, I don't work for them). The reason I say this is because I ordered mine from www.tvrepairworld.com and it was the WORST customer service I've ever had in my entire life, on any level. Without getting into too much detail, after not including thermal paste (which most kits do include - see www.tvrepairkits.com) I complained to the company and they told me to go pound sand, basically. Then I challenged the amount of the amount of the thermal paste on my credit card (against the purchase for the kit) and they threatened me with legal action and larceny charges! What BS! What turned into a minor complaint about a missing item turned into hollow legal threats from a guy named Sonny about...yep, $10. What ridiculousness. Avoid tvrepairworld.com at ALL COSTS.
Anyone who can assist, my brother was given a JVC Tv as a gift from his boss, we are not sure about the model but remote model is RM-C267. Tv was transported to our house and when trying to switch it on, pictures and writings have three colors behind like shadows (blue, green and red) don't have manual or anything to look at since it is a ppre-owned tv however we tried to reset convergence using remote but not winning. We are able to reach convergence adjust on the screen but when trying to move colors using no.5 and 9, tv does not respond. My brother is very disappointed, I will appreciate if anyone can assist. The ex owner of the tv is out of the country, unable to reach them for more info about model and other important info. Please help us
