I have a Zenith 20" TV/VCR combination that is 4 to 5 years old. Somehow the closed caption has come on and I can find no way to turn it off. The "menu" button doesn't include this feature and I can't find it anywhere else. I have DISH TV but their tech support assures me that it has nothing to do with their remote control as they have no control on closed caption tv. Anyone have any suggestions?

Larry, can you provide the model number of the TV?
I know it may a little late for this but using your tv's internal menu look at display or screen options. You will find the caption control there.
