MP3 malfunction?

I have a sport mp3. It turns on but when I go to play my files on flash the screen breifly changes then goes right back to the menu. When I put it to FM radio it turns off. It has worked great to this point and I have had it about 5 months.

Not sure if you're referring to the Rio Sport MP3 or not, but if you are, I've seen posts on other forums of people having similar problems with this device too. You might try to call customer support and see if they can help you. What they will probably tell you is to reload the device drivers, so you might want to try that first, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Otherwise, they'll probably tell you to send it in for service and at that point, you're probably better off buying a new player.

One of the things about this

One of the things about this Sport MP3 is that I have no idea who the manufacturer is. There is no indication in the small users manaul that comes with it. It was purchased at a Target store and I have seen other stores that carry it. It is orange and white or you can get it in purple. It has been so frustrating trying to get info. on this product. Therefore I have no customer support number. Thank you for answering my post.

In that case, the MP3 player that you have is probably NOT the Rio but from a company call Vosonic out of the UK. What's funny is that it is not even listed under a section for MP3 players, but under a section for USB Flash Drives.

Don't you just hate how

Don't you just hate how everyone seems to be moving toward doing everything they can to keep you from actually *calling* support for help. Then, when you send an email, you get an automated response back pointing you to their website. I know they're trying to save cash, but seriously......
