Easiest way to research family cell phone packages

Our current contract is expiring and we are looking for the best deal out there that offers a large reception area, low family plan pricing and attractive phones.

You'll probably want to check

You'll probably want to check out T-Mobile and Cingular. T-Mobile has some good deals on family plans, but Cingular has them beat as far as coverage goes. With T-Mobile, plans start at around 50 bucks for 500 minutes and 2 phones. Cingular seems to start at about 40 for one phone, but each additional line costs 20 a month on plans 59.99 or lower; 10 bucks a month for 69.99 a month plan and higher. You'll need to have a rough guess about how many minutes you use a month combined, not including handset to handset minutes, which are included. One thing to keep in mind, Cingular is a 2 year deal, while you should still be able to get a 1 year with T-Mobile.

Let me clarify something I

Let me clarify something I said above. You can get a 1 year and no contract agreement with Cingular, but you have to pay more for the phones.
