This problem could be a screen ajustment, or once I had a set like this and it turns out the screen voltage on the CRT's was too low. Found some resistors have changed values. once I also had a set that had a bright picture with grey retrace lines and I had to replace all three of the CRT boards as they had hold burnt into them. The bad part about this set was after i replaced the three CRT boards, I found out all three CRTs had burn spots on them You will need a service manual for these types of repairs. If you have no TV repair experience you really sould call out a tech to assist you in this repair. Good Luck and keep us informed of this repair.
