hi there I am having a problem with my RCA drc612n personel dvd player.I can play a dvd get sound but I have no picture.Is it worth replacing the screen (how much will it be) or should I just hook it to my tv and use it like that.Any help much appreciated.
Are you saying that it will play fine when you connect it to the TV, but the player's screen isn't working properly?
Is the line switch on the side of the player set to "out"?

Does that mean you now have a picture on the player? What was the problem? Post back to help out others that may encounter your problem in the future.
We just bought this unit at a flea market and it worked initially. But now, the video is very dark. The line switch is out and I don't have a tv handy to see if it will play into a tv. It seems to be a display problem. The display mode menu intensity control doesn't change the brightness.
