urgent replies are appreciated!
thanks
It's broke.
Are you sure this isn't an LCD set?
i have had the TV for 3 years. I think looking at my PLASMA TV for that amount of time, i would have noticed that it was an LCD.
thanks for your waste of time message.
You haven't listed a model number.
You're like so many others
"My set did this, what's wrong with it'?
No information other than a vague description.
Geez, there are a bunch of things that can go wrong with your Plasma that will cause it to not turn on. Call up a service establishment and have them look at it. It's not going to get fixed on the internet.
Cleo15, lets try to be nice. We are here to help, but without any discription on the model and or type of set, we cannot even think to quess what is wrong or what to advise about. There are about a Zillion differant models of TV sets, all made by differant manufacturers, or they are whats called OEM sets. Please, if you need assistance, give us the info we need to keep us from quessing what you have. Let us know how you made out with this set. Good Luck
I too have a 32" Hitachi plasm - model PD2100SHD that will not turn on, as did Cleo15.
I turned it on this afternoon with the power switch on the front of the set but the standby light turns on to red for a split second, then goes orange. It keeps flashing orange but the set doesn't come on.
I have tried turning off the power for a while, tested the leads etc, all to no avail.
I wonder if there is a problem with the switch itself. Did you solve your's Cleo15? Any help would be gratefully received. The manual is of no help at all by the way (surprise surprise!!).
Many Thanks
