I read the article "Troubleshooting a TV for a dead Connection" By: Larry Dillon.
I have a Quasar SP3117T with a blown fuse. I followed the instr. for the light bulb test and received results not mentioned in the article. The light bulb began to flash on and off when the power button was pushed. A clicking sound in unison also comes from a component 4 " from the fuse. It is a black 1X1/2 " with the following identification 030M 6503 TDK. Located inbetween transformers and DEG Cable. Any insight or advice would be extremely appreciated...

here is a short in the set Test first the horizontal output transistor, if that test good, your going to need a service manual to trouble shoot the main or sweep power supply. Please, if you have no solid state repair experience, seek out a authorized Panasonic repair depot.
