Did this problem just start to happen ? Did you just put the speakers there next to the TV set. If you did, them I would move the speakers and let the auto deguass do its jb. if the speakers were always there, and the problem has just blossemed, You may have a problem with the auto deguass circuit. Could be as simple as a bad solder connection on the thermistor, relay or the deguassing coil plug connections. If you know how to work on solid state printed circuit boards and can solder, and most of all have the technical back ground to know what the automatic deguassing circuit consist of, then try to resolder everything first in that circuit. If you do not, please seek the help of a trained tech, as if you do not know, a TV set is not the place to be experimenting inside of. Oh, one more thing, If the set was dropped recently, disregard everything I told you, as the picture tube is problably bad and certainly not worth replaceing.
