My unit was left on, and in the "STOP" position. Now it will not turn on or reapond to remote or manual buttons. Does anyone have an answer? Thanks, Don
Hey, you have to try the easy stuff first. I would also plug another device into the same outlet to make sure that the outlet is good.
Assuming there's nothing wrong with the outlet, the next step you'll want to take is to remove the unit's lid and take out the DVD. Getting the disc out is usually easy, but be careful not to break anything if it requires a little elbow grease.
It's doubtful that a jammed disc is going to be the culprit when the unit won't power on, so look around inside the player for any charred components or blown fuses.
Hey there I have the same machine, works great except in karoke mode i can not get the track to come off the screen. any one else have the same problem ?
mine did that too, and you can't see the words on some of the songs, what you have to do is resize the screen. There is a button for it, it's been a long time since miine worked at all, but I do remember that we had to resize, the track would not come off.
While the unit is open (and UNPLUGGED), check the input fuse. With the unit open and plugged in, check for 5V. This is the standby voltage that should be present in the machine. The thing to look for is a small 5V regulator. These look like transistors and will measure to ground as 0V, 5V, and most likely 12V for the three legs. Without the 5V line, nothing will work. Good luck. Keep us posted.
My remote of "Viewmage AT-2003 DVD Karaote Player" got lost.
What is code for me to program my "RCA RCU410 Remote Control" to get my "Viewmage AT-2003 DVD Karaote Player" works?
Give it a hard reset: unplug it, wait 10 minutes, then plug it back in. Let us know if that corrects the issue.
Well, that did nothing, the unit is still DOA
