I recently just got this tv knowing it was broke..Here is the deal..The guy i got it from said about 6 months ago he had a repair man redo all the boards in it costing $700 worked great for about a month then the picture went away...his brother messed with it and got it working for a few days then went out again..he said the heck with it and bought him a new one..I think its probably just a short which he thought the same thing..I dont know much about big screens but would like to try and fix myself..any thoughts or someone guide me in the right direction..which board to look at for loose connection..Thanks for the help

Thats set has chassis number CTC169PABF inside it. Lots of things come to mind with this set. I need to know first my friend, when you say the set goes out. Does just the picture go out and the sound stays or does the entiure set shuts off?
