I have a mitsubishi tv. It is a hd tv 55" rear projection. The picture is cut off all the way around. It is definetley soming with the tv, not the equipment hooked to it. All I want to do is to be able to zoom the picture to fit the screen. I tried to do that with turning the adjustment on the lenses, but then the focus gets way off. Does anyone know if there is a special menu on the tv that you need to know the trick to enter? Or is there an adjustment for this somewhere on the tv?
Have you tried pressing the format button on the TV's remote to cycle through the various formatting modes? You may be in one of the Zoom settings at the moment.
Yes, I have tried that, and it does nothing for my problem. I have also adjust the three lenses, and that zoomed it out, but then it is way out of focus. So I am at a loss. If I could move the screen itself further back in the tv or move the mirror or the lenses, but I can't see any way of doing that.
Dear Lord, don't mess with the lens or move the screens. Is this problem happening on everything you're trying to watch? HD and non-HD?
Yes, everything. I am getting a software update shipped to me this week, but I don't think that's the problem iether. Don't worry, I marked the factory settings on the lenses before I messed with them.
