Help...I have a 27" Magnavox TV Model TR2710 C102. My kids were messing with the buttons and now it seems to be i a "display" mode. It automatically loops and shows "Why this should be my next TV" and goes through all the menus. I don't know how to reset it or anything. As soon as it is plugged in, it goes into that mode.
Thats called the demo mode. If you go into the menu you will see it there somewhere. turn off the demo mode and all will be the same. Good Luck and let us know how you made out .

Thanks for your reply. However, I don't have the original remote. None of the buttons on the TV will work with the "Demo" mode going. I thought maybe there might be a reset switch on the back or inside. Opened it up yesterday, but all I found was dust. Lots and lots of dust. Any ideas?
No not that im aware of. Sorry. Have you tryed to unplug it for a day or so?
Yup......had to unplug it otherwise it would not shut off.
Do you have any friends that may have a Phillips or Magnavox TV set and you can borrow the remote to turn off the demo mode?
Actually I figured it out!!!!! I got desperate and started pushing the buttons in combinations. Pushing the Volume up and volume down buttons gets it out of Demo. Thanks for your help. Hopefully this will save someone else some aggravation if they run into the same situation.
